First Aid Courses

First Aid at Work (level 3)

Three day, First Aid at Work - This comprehensive First Aid at Work course features Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day) and also enables the course candidate to apply first aid to an extensive range of specific injuries and illnesses. On successful completion of the course, candidates are entitled to act as first-aiders in the workplace. The course complies with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) regulations 1981 (Appendix 5 Content of a First Aid at Work (FAW) course).

 

First Aid at Work (level 3 Requal)

Two day, First Aid at Work - The First Aid at Work Requalification syllabus covers the same topics as the First Aid at Work course. However, the face-to-face training and assessment contact is only 12 hours. The course complies with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) regulations 1981 (Appendix 5 Content of a first aid at work (FAW) course).

 

Emergency First Aid at Work (level 2)

One day - The Emergency First Aid at Work course is suitable where an appropriate assessment has identified a work environment as low-risk. On successful completion of the course, candidates will be entitled to act as a first-aiders in the workplace. This course complies with the Health & Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981

Paediatric First Aid (level 3)

This qualification provides learners with the first aid skills they require to enter into the children’s workforce. The aim of the qualification is to guide and assess the development of knowledge and skills relating to paediatric first aid.

 

CPR

2 hours - Candidates on this course will be given up to date theoretical knowledge and receive practical skills and procedure training in cardio pulmonary resuscitation. The course is ideal for those having to update their CPR skills on a yearly basis.

 

Pitch Side First Aid

4 hour - First Aid Awareness - This first aid awareness course is highly popular with clubs and individuals involved in sporting activities such as karate, football, hockey etc… and is also ideal for those taking general fitness programmes

like Zumba and other Keep Fit classes.
